Collaborating
with local architects for the design of a former client’s primary residence
on the southern California coast, SLS devised a comprehensive interior architecture
program for this new 14,000 SF site-cast concrete residence. To tie together
the three pavilions that comprise the living spaces, art exhibition and guest
quarters, SLS brought a tactile material palette to the interiors to augment
the rugged architectural forms through a restrained selection of finishes, millwork
and lighting throughout.
