This project involves the conversion of a typical long, narrow Manhattan loft space into a family residence. The design preserves the open areas characteristic of lofts while creating more private divided areas similar to apartments. Finishes are intended to complement the owners' collection of period modern furniture and contemporary art, thereby straddling the line between a residence and an exhibition space.
